Work flexible hours in local parks and athletic fields, monitoring adult sports, performing custodial duties, and assisting with summer recreational activities for the City of Coon Rapids.
Responsibilities
- Monitor adult sports and league games
- Manage time and scorekeeping weekly throughout the season
- Maintain proper care of equipment
- Perform general custodial, maintenance, and cleaning duties
- Provide assistance with summer recreational activities including evening and weekend rentals, special events, and sports tournaments
- Provide general security, including locking and unlocking park facilities
- Assist in other special projects or administrative tasks
- Provide effective and respectful customer service to employees, vendors, and citizens
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Interest and/or knowledge of recreational sports and activities
Nice to Have
- Current student seeking degree in Parks and Recreation, Sports Studies, or Management
