The Temporary AP Statistics Teacher will be responsible for teaching sections of AP Statistics, preparing students for the AP test, and advising on statistics projects. This role involves active participation in school leadership-directed activities and departmental growth.
Responsibilities
- Teach four sections of AP Statistics for a faculty member on short-term leave
- Prepare and Lead Lessons on Units 8 & 9 of the AP Statistics Framework (Chi-Square and Slope)
- Direct Students as they review and practice for the AP Statistics Test
- Introduce and Advise Students as they Choose and Complete a self-chosen project to submit to the ASA Statistics Project Competition
- Attend all School, Upper School, Middle School, and special assemblies as directed by School Leadership
- Proctor exams including finals, 504s, and AP for AP teachers
- Serve as an advisor/homeroom teacher
- Hold office hours three days a week
- Actively engage in the professional learning cycle of supervision and evaluation
- Maintain an accurate and updated LMS that meets Division and Department expectations

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience; a master’s degree and/or teaching credential is preferred.
