About This Role

Join Tower Systems, Inc. as a Telecommunications Tower Technician to perform new construction, upgrades, and maintenance on various types of towers, while working in an outdoor, adventurous environment with extensive national and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of new telecommunications tower construction
• Carry out dismantles, upgrades, and co-locations on towers
• Conduct inspections, microwave installations, mapping, civils, and foundations
• Perform maintenance on existing towers ranging from 60’ to 1500’
• Adhere to best industry standards
• Utilize PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, printer, and camera proficiently
• Comprehend construction drawings, assembly drawings, and RF data sheets
• Demonstrate proficiency in general industry knowledge, including rigging, knot tying, and signaling
• Exhibit good physical stamina to climb towers and lift, pull, and push 80 lbs
• Be able to crouch, kneel, twist, and climb with both hands
• Travel extensively away from the home market, nationally and internationally

Requirements

• Good moral character, dependable, and honest
• Proficient use of PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, printer, camera
• Comprehends construction drawings, assembly drawings, RF data sheets
• Proficient in general industry knowledge, including rigging, knot tying, and signaling
• Good physical stamina to climb towers with the ability to lift, pull, and push 80 lbs
• Ability to crouch, kneel, twist, and climb with both hands
• Willingness to travel extensively away from the home market, nationally and internationally
• Clean driving record
