About This Role

This role will serve as the first Technical Sales Engineer for a venture-backed space company, translating mission requirements into full-stack communication solutions for commercial and federal clients. The position involves leading technical sessions, supporting proposal development, and providing feedback to internal engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead deep-dive technical sessions on link budgets, throughput, spectrum interference, and architecture trade-offs
  • Translate mission requirements into full-stack communications solutions
  • Support proposal development and high-level technical discovery
  • Feed real-world mission needs back into internal FPGA, DSP, and RF teams
  • Help shape next-generation anti-jam and adaptive communications capabilities

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in at least two of: RF Systems Design, FPGA Development, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Ground Segment Architecture
  • Comfort speaking peer-to-peer with Chief Engineers & Program Managers
  • Ability to translate mission goals into technical architecture
