About This Role

This Technical Project Manager role ensures timely project completion, identifies issues proactively, maintains quality standards, and understands technical details to make informed decisions for web development projects, particularly with transitions from WordPress to Next.js.

Responsibilities

  • Own multiple website builds simultaneously, tracking timelines, dependencies, and blockers
  • Drive projects forward when momentum slows, coordinating between developers, designers, and internal stakeholders
  • Perform quality control by reviewing websites before client review to catch layout issues, mobile responsiveness problems, performance concerns, and SEO basics
  • Identify and resolve broken links, forms, and tracking; ensure sites meet company standards
  • Provide technical oversight, understanding Next.js, WordPress, DNS management, and directing developers correctly
  • Lead with clarity and calm authority, giving clear direction to developers
  • Escalate issues early and keep leadership informed without over-communicating
  • Translate complex technical issues into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience managing website development projects
  • Working knowledge of Next.js
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Basic understanding of DNS & domain management
  • Experience leading or coordinating teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication
