Technical Program Manager II - Data & AI - Gaming

About This Role

This role will oversee the complete delivery of technical programs within Microsoft Gaming's Studios Quality team, focusing on Data & AI initiatives to enhance Xbox game experiences. The position involves collaborating with engineering teams, defining project scopes, and mitigating risks to ensure programs align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete delivery of technical programs from start to finish
• Develop specifications, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure results align with organizational goals
• Establish clear scope, milestones, timelines, success criteria, and deliverables for each program
• Identify and prioritize technical needs and gaps, communicating them effectively to stakeholders
• Recognize, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across teams
• Maintain transparency by providing regular status updates, clear stakeholder communications, and proactive risk escalation

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
• 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in data science, including managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical methods, and reporting results. At least 2 years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
