Technical Lead

About This Role

This Technical Lead role involves designing, developing, and implementing web-based and cloud-based solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies for government clients. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the architecture of Azure cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify code commensurate with Senior Full Stack.Net C# Developer capabilities
• Contribute to the design and architecture of Azure cloud-based custom solutions using .NET technologies and Azure App Services/Functions architecture
• Review solution scope to identify technical issues and provide recommendations for improvement
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring junior developers and leading code reviews
• Develop end-to-end full stack applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core) including responsive front-end interfaces and RESTful APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, secure code in compliance with DGS ETS coding standards and design patterns
• Create comprehensive unit tests and perform integrated testing to ensure all features meet acceptance criteria
• Configure and manage Dev, Test, and UAT environments in Azure, documenting configuration settings
• Configure and maintain Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and source control management
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging Azure PaaS services with optimized scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
• Lead or actively participate in Sprint Planning and Review ceremonies following ETS Hybrid Methodology and Scrum/Agile principles
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including system design, data flow diagrams, API specifications, and release notes

Requirements

• 8+ years in designing, developing & implementing web-based solutions using Microsoft .NET (C#, Visual Studio, ASP.Net MVC, MS SQL, Containerization, REST APIs, Angular, Razor, Azure DevOps)
• 5+ years in designing, developing & implementing cloud-based solutions in Azure/AWS using Microsoft .NET Technologies (C# is a must)
• 3+ years FTE experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipeline configurations in Azure DevOps
• 3+ years FTE experience performing Unit Testing using Nunit, MS Test, etc.
• 3+ years FTE experience with Azure Resource Manager service and ARM Templates
• 3+ years of experience using Agile/Scrum Methodologies
• All experience must have been within the past 10 years

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years in designing, developing & implementing web- based solutions using various Microsoft .NET technologies (C# is a must), Visual Studio, ASP.Net MVC, MS SQL, Containerization, REST APIs, Angular, Razor, and Azure DevOps. Minimum five (5) years in designing, developing & implementing cloud-based solutions in Azure/AWS using various Microsoft .NET Technologies (C# is a must).
