This volunteer role as a Technical E-Board Member involves organizing and participating in technical discussions, workshops, and projects for the Boston University Artificial Intelligence Society. The position supports the technical development of member projects and fosters partnerships within the AI community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and leading society initiatives
- Support the technical development of member projects
- Collaborate with peers to create resources and educational materials
- Foster partnerships with the broader AI community
- Build and improve hands-on technical curriculum
- Mentor members and support project teams
- Help run technical sessions and internal documentation
- Collaborate with e-board on roadmap, events, and execution
Requirements
- Currently enrolled Boston University student (undergraduate or graduate)
- Interest in AI/ML, robotics, software systems, or technical education
- Reliable commitment and teamwork mindset
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for AI education, innovation, and community engagement
- Ability to work on-site with team members in Greater Boston
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- Experience working on technical projects or in volunteer-led organizations
