Technical Capture & QA Specialist

About This Role

This role is responsible for producing flawless web and social media captures using Page Vault software and performing meticulous quality assurance on all outputs to ensure they are complete, clean, and court-ready for legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce web and social media captures for customers using the Page Vault software
• Choose the best capture approach based on job specifications and content being preserved
• Deliver captures on time and without defects
• QA captures (own and others') against standards before delivery
• Identify and correct issues commonly occurring in automated/bulk captures
• Follow and improve QA checklists precisely
• Troubleshoot difficult capture targets systematically, escalating when necessary
• Use internal documentation to run approved workflows for capture results improvement
• Document troubleshooting steps for quick assistance
• Review complex capture targets and URL sets for scoping support

• Genuinely detail-oriented and takes pride in precision work
• Likes following checklists and processes without cutting corners
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically when something doesn’t work
• Can learn technical tools from documentation independently
• Takes ownership of outcomes and cares about reducing rework
• Comfortable using modern web tools (browsers, web apps, basic troubleshooting)
• Able to manage multiple tasks and hit deadlines in a remote environment
• Strong written communication skills (especially documenting issues and steps)
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated relevant experience

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with browser developer tools (DevTools)
• Familiarity with running scripts in terminal
• Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity)
