Tech Lead Fullstack (Java+Angular)

About This Role

Lead technical and strategic initiatives as a Staff / Tech Lead Full Stack, specializing in Angular and Java development. This role involves defining best practices, mastering technical challenges, and mentoring a specialized team to evolve Scanntech's products.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural, performance, quality, and scalability decisions within Full Stack specialization
• Provide technical guidance to the team in executing and designing complex features
• Promote code quality standards, testing best practices, and deployment procedures
• Collaborate with other technical leaders, product managers, and architects
• Offer critical and proactive insights on technical debt and improvement opportunities
• Encourage the adoption of modern tools and practices, including AI for development support
• Mentor junior developers within the technical specialization

Requirements

• 7+ years in software development, with Full Stack focus
• 2+ years leading technical teams or as a technical lead in complex projects
• Solid experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Proficiency in Java and SpringBoot for backend development
• Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Good understanding of modern architectures, microservices, CI/CD, testing, and engineering best practices
• Technical leadership skills, clear communication, and collaborative work

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a Full Stack focus. At least 2 years leading technical teams or being a technical lead in complex projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ionic Framework for hybrid applications
• Knowledge or experience with Apache Druid
• Usage of AI development tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
• Participation in technical communities, open-source contributions, or experience as a speaker
