Lead and mentor a team of UX designers to shape the future of agentic learning experiences in higher education. This role involves bridging strategic vision with hands-on execution, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Research to deliver innovative and personalized learning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of UX designers through coaching, feedback, and career guidance
- Own UX delivery across a product area, ensuring quality, consistency, and predictability
- Prioritize and sequence work to balance short‑term execution and long‑term experience goals
- Partner closely with product and engineering to align roadmaps, priorities, and success metrics
- Run design planning, critique, and review rituals that support clarity and momentum
- Unblock teams by resolving ambiguity, clarifying scope, and navigating trade‑offs
- Reinforce design standards, accessibility, and design system adoption
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in UX design
- 3+ years leading designers
- Experience designing products that leverage agentic AI
- Experience designing with AI prototyping tools to enhance workflows
- Strong foundation in end‑to‑end UX design across complex, multi‑surface products
- Proven experience managing priorities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Confidence making decisions under ambiguity and communicating trade‑offs clearly
- Collaborative leadership style that builds trust across product, engineering, and design
- Ability to switch between hands‑on design guidance and higher‑level planning as needed
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of professional experience in UX design, with 3+ years leading designers
