Provide individualized education services to deaf or hard of hearing students within mainstream classes. Design and implement specialized instruction to meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized education services to students that are deaf or hard of hearing
- Serve students in mainstream classes
- Design specially designed instruction to address the needs of students that are deaf or hard of hearing
- Implement specially designed instruction to address the needs of students that are deaf or hard of hearing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Required teaching certificate in Special Education: Deaf or Hard of Hearing as required by the State of Kentucky
- Specific content knowledge, training, or job experience prior to appointment
- Successful student teaching

- Specific content knowledge, training, or job experience prior to appointment, and successful student teaching.
Nice to Have
- Dual licensure
Certifications
Teaching certificate in Special Education: Deaf or Hard of Hearing as required by the State of Kentucky
