About This Role

This role manages key talent programs including DSM Intern Connection and Young Professionals Connection, supporting inclusive talent development initiatives to strengthen the regional talent ecosystem and ensure long-term workforce success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end leadership of DSM Intern Connection, including program planning, recruitment, execution, and deliverables.
  • Led intern engagement experiences, including professional development, networking, and community engagement.
  • Collect and leverage data and feedback from employers and participants to continuously improve program design and outcomes.
  • Build relationships with internship program administrators and career development professionals.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for Investors and Regional Chamber Members.
  • Team lead and increase membership for Young Professionals Connection (YPC) and deliver professional development opportunities.
  • Assist Senior Vice President with management of YPC memberships, financials, governance, and board communications.
  • Support The Legacy Project: Career Ready Collective program and operations.
  • Manage talent attraction programming and support talent campaign implementation, coordinating with internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, human resources, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Very strong project management and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented, self-starter, able to multi-task
  • Highly adaptable and able to work well in a team
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, human resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with preferred project coordination or human resources and workforce development experience.
