Talent & Operations Associate

About This Role

This role will support Vertice's US scaling efforts by managing talent acquisition processes and ensuring seamless office operations in New York. The associate will source candidates, coordinate interviews, manage onboarding, and assist with local events, acting as the operational 'boots on the ground' for the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the global Talent team to identify and engage exceptional candidates across a wide range of business functions
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and Ashby to unearth top talent
• Drive the top of the funnel by reviewing applications and conducting initial outreach
• Manage interview scheduling for the US team, ensuring a seamless, high-velocity experience
• Maintain rigorous data hygiene within ATS (Ashby) to support accurate reporting on hiring metrics
• Manage the physical onboarding process for new hires in NY, including hardware handover, welcome orientation, and first-week logistics
• Act as the local point person for the Marketing team to support the execution of industry events, dinners, and recruitment meetups hosted in the NY office
• Provide ad-hoc assistance to the global Operations team, handling on-the-ground requirements and logistics
• Support the People team in organizing internal initiatives that foster a high-performance culture and team connectivity

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, operations, or a coordination-heavy role
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with modern productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack)
• Proactive self-starter with a bias for action

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, operations, or a coordination-heavy role.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Experience with an ATS (Ashby preferred) or LinkedIn Recruiter
