Systems Engineer (Portfolio Analysis & Integration Specialist)

About This Role

This role involves supporting the strategic evolution of the sponsor's direction and priorities, ensuring effective performance through business and mission analytics, and communicating enterprise architecture related to technical collection within the Intelligence Community (IC) portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support the evolution of the sponsor’s strategic direction and priorities through strategic planning
• Ensure strategy is effectively and efficiently pursued using best practices and benchmarking in business and mission analytics
• Communicate enterprise architecture related to technical collection and its relationship to the overall Intelligence Community (IC) portfolio
• Keep abreast of IC Portfolio of Technical Investments-related strategies, business goals, objectives, performance targets, and associated technical collection enterprise architecture
• Make recommendations including proposed strategies, roadmaps, identified risks, capability and performance gaps, and dependencies to aid sponsor decision-making
• Make recommendations to keep strategy, performance, and architecture aligned
• Function as a liaison and lead discussion with IC program managers, DoD partners, and private sector companies on program capabilities and services delivery and requirements concerns
• Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to senior-level executives
• Communicate technical topics in a non-technical manner to senior-level audiences

Requirements

• Poly clearance
• BS degree and 12-15 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience
• Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills
• Expert knowledge of Artificial Intelligence
• Expert knowledge of Data integration complexities
• Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to provide appropriate audience-written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to support the architecture and design of AI Strategy, Implementation plans and policies

Qualifications

• BS degree or master's degree in a technical domain
• 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience with a BS degree or 10 – 13 years with a master's degree

Nice to Have

• Technical degree in Engineering or Science (practical not theoretical)
• Broad experience with the IC and touch points to DoD
• AI certification
