This part-time Switchboard Operator will operate the hospital switchboard and act as a receptionist, handling essential communications and administrative duties for Fuller Hospital on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Operate hospital switchboard and act as the receptionist at the front door
- Provide information for census and statistical reports
- Maintain medical record integrity through filing, assembling and retrieving confidential information
- Perform various clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Typing skills
- Computer literacy
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge and skills to interact compassionately and appropriately with the mentally ill and their families
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience operating switchboard, inputting data into computer and operating other office equipment preferred.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience operating a switchboard
