Swine Service Manager

About This Role

The Swine Service Manager will oversee a designated territory of contract and company-owned wean-to-finish sites, focusing on production practices, inventory management, marketing, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage farm staff to ensure proper production practices are followed.
• Perform initial inventory and assessment of newly placed pigs.
• Manage weekly market projections and select pigs for market.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure sites are well-maintained.
• Troubleshoot and adjust ventilation systems.
• Assess health issues and perform on-farm diagnostics.

Requirements

• Prior swine management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
