About This Role

Lead and support a team of skilled technicians responsible for the installation and repair of telecommunications services, ensuring high-quality workmanship and an excellent customer experience. Oversee daily field operations, scheduling, and troubleshooting, while serving as a liaison between various departments and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of skilled technicians installing and repairing voice, video, broadband, and fiber services
• Oversee day-to-day field operations, scheduling, service orders, and troubleshooting
• Ensure high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of work
• Conduct quality control assessments and audits to maintain high work standards
• Serve as a liaison for Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Customers, ensuring alignment and information flow
• Analyze trouble tickets and productivity data to identify improvements
• Train and develop technicians on evolving fiber and fixed wireless technologies
• Take part in hiring, performance feedback, coaching, and recognition
• Maintain accurate reporting, inventory accountability, and compliance documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years in telecommunications installation, repair, construction, or field operations
• Strong knowledge of copper, HFC, GPON, Fiber-to-the-Home systems, and broadband provisioning
• Solid understanding of AC/DC theory and safe work practices
• Clean driving record, valid license, and willingness to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications installation, repair, construction, or field operations

Nice to Have

• Formal supervisor experience leading field teams
