Lead and support a team of skilled technicians responsible for the installation and repair of telecommunications services, ensuring high-quality workmanship and an excellent customer experience. Oversee daily field operations, scheduling, and troubleshooting, while serving as a liaison between various departments and customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of skilled technicians installing and repairing voice, video, broadband, and fiber services
- Oversee day-to-day field operations, scheduling, service orders, and troubleshooting
- Ensure high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of work
- Conduct quality control assessments and audits to maintain high work standards
- Serve as a liaison for Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Customers, ensuring alignment and information flow
- Analyze trouble tickets and productivity data to identify improvements
- Train and develop technicians on evolving fiber and fixed wireless technologies
- Take part in hiring, performance feedback, coaching, and recognition
- Maintain accurate reporting, inventory accountability, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years in telecommunications installation, repair, construction, or field operations
- Strong knowledge of copper, HFC, GPON, Fiber-to-the-Home systems, and broadband provisioning
- Solid understanding of AC/DC theory and safe work practices
- Clean driving record, valid license, and willingness to work flexible hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years in telecommunications installation, repair, construction, or field operations
Nice to Have
- Formal supervisor experience leading field teams
