About This Role

This Procurement Internship offers exposure to various aspects of the procurement and sourcing process, focusing on understanding the Purchase to Pay Process and Category/Commodity Management. The role involves networking with stakeholders, analyzing data, and presenting findings to team members and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Be exposed to multiple aspects of the Procurement/Sourcing process
• Develop an understanding of the Purchase to Pay Process
• Develop an understanding of Category/Commodity Management
• Network with various business stakeholders and sourcing professionals
• Create and analyze procurement data
• Share learned information with team members and leaders

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a detail-oriented and organized environment
• Ability to be adaptable
• Intellectual curiosity
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Human Resources, Accountancy, Management, Media Studies, or any field of study that meets full-time role requirements within 12 months of internship completion.
