About This Role

Serve as a Substitute Bus Driver for the Sumter County School System, ensuring safe transportation for students while adhering to all state and district regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the school bus in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maintain a safe and orderly environment for students on the bus
  • Participate in the Bus Driver Safety Institute
  • Report to Keith Benn, Interim Transportation Supervisor

Requirements

  • Valid Alabama CDL
  • No record of DUI convictions
  • Ability to pass DOT mandated physical exam
