As a Subrogation Assistant, you will process insurance transactions, create documents, handle help desk calls, resolve billing issues, and review new business policies. You will work under general supervision, contributing to the company's goals and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Utilize multiple systems to service policies and process transactions such as address changes, loss payee updates, total loss vehicle removals, and Evidence of Insurance requests
- Create insurance documents and new business packets in accordance with established procedures
- Answer calls and resolve issues on the help desk
- Investigate billing and payment discrepancies issues to resolution and prepare supporting documentation
- Review applications for insurance eligibility and bind new business policies
- Perform quality control and compliance review within work areas as assigned
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Working knowledge of office procedures and processes
- High school diploma or equivalent plus vocational training
- 2-3 years of clerical, office or support experience

- Ability to create basic MS Office documents and spreadsheets
- Insurance knowledge strongly preferred
