Student Recruitment Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading student recruitment and enrollment efforts, managing community engagement, overseeing marketing and communications, and supporting development initiatives for a K-8 college-preparatory charter school.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual project plans for student recruitment, lottery, re-enrollment, and new student enrollment
• Serve as the school's representative at community and pre-k events to recruit new families
• Lead tours of the school's campus for prospective families and community stakeholders
• Canvass neighborhoods to recruit new students and create student recruitment materials
• Develop and implement PAVE’s community engagement strategy and community partnerships strategy
• Create new service provider and community partnerships to sponsor/co-sponsor local events
• Build monthly content plans and manage the school’s brand identity for marketing and communications
• Administer the PAVE Red Hook website to ensure consistent messaging and current content
• Support relationships and communications with donors, maintain development database, and oversee marketing materials for development
• Manage all K-8 family communication efforts, including social media and monthly family newsletter
• Plan and execute PAVE family-focused events like Graduation, Back-to-School Night, and Enrollment Events
• Provide translation support for parent meetings, phone calls, and conferences

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong digital literacy (Microsoft Office, social media, graphic design platforms)
• Flexibility of schedule for evening and weekend events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Nice to Have

• Spanish language skills
• Experience with event planning and execution
