This role will support the building team by assisting with permit and report preparation, completing elementary design calculations and engineering plans, and performing basic design tasks using engineering software. The associate will also prepare drawings and visual aids and conduct field reviews of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Compile data and assist with permit and report preparation
- Complete elementary design calculations and engineering plans
- Perform basic design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology
- Prepare drawings and visual aids
- Perform as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or an equivalent
- 0-3 years experience
- Awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
- Basic knowledge of production software
- Solid oral and written communication skills
