About This Role

Lead structured, evidence-based training for athletes in a performance-driven environment, focusing on strength, speed, and explosiveness. This role involves coaching group and individual sessions, implementing sport-specific programs, and mentoring athletes for long-term development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured, evidence-based training for athletes
  • Assist in developing and implementing sport-specific training programs
  • Coach speed training
  • Mentor athletes and help refine skills through sports performance training
  • Evaluate athletic performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure proper techniques and safety standards during all sessions
  • Collaborate with the coaching team to improve training systems
  • Maintain a professional, athlete-focused facility and culture
  • Teach and correct movement mechanics to ensure proper technique and injury prevention
  • Coach proper use of training equipment and technology

Requirements

  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Current certification in Strength & Conditioning or sports performance training (CSCS, NSCA, NASM, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Science, or related field
  • Former high school athlete (college-level athlete preferred)
  • Available days, evenings, and weekends (as needed)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for athlete development and performance training
  • Ability to coach with confidence, professionalism, and authority
  • Ability to coach independently after two months of on-site training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Science, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience coaching or training athletes (group or individual)
  • Strong understanding of strength training, speed training, and injury prevention
  • Ability to motivate and mentor athletes toward performance goals
  • Familiarity with leadership, team development, or organizational coaching concepts

Certifications
