This role involves primarily office work with occasional field duties, focusing on civil and site engineering projects, including highway drainage, stormwater management, and green infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project coordination and design highway drainage systems
- Design post-construction stormwater management facilities
- Design erosion and sediment pollution controls
- Design site development plans
- Design green stormwater infrastructure
- Perform review tasks related to technical aspects of projects
- Conduct field compliance inspections for erosion controls and stormwater control measures
- Perform site reconnaissance for design
Requirements
- BS degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania
- 5-10 years' experience in civil engineering
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5-10 years of experience in stormwater and civil/site engineering
