Store Shift Lead

About This Role

Lead store operations and provide excellent customer service at one of the largest national gasoline and convenience retailers. Support the Store Manager in daily tasks and help guide the team to achieve performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide a prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Respond to and resolve customer’s requests and concerns
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operate cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations
• Help lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives
• Perform job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management, provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, problem resolution, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age (age varies by state)
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Minimum 3 months of Cashier experience, or 6 months of related job experience if no H.S. diploma/GED
