Store Delivery Driver

About This Role

This role involves delivering parts to customers, managing inventory, and maintaining the delivery vehicle while acting as a NAPA brand ambassador.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers with a passion for developing relationships
• Pick up parts from vendors
• Ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain/check inventory
• Consistently focus on safety while driving and delivering parts
• Serve as a NAPA Brand Ambassador during customer interactions
• Build long-term relationships with customers you deliver to
• Maintain store delivery truck by adhering to safety checklists, ensuring cleanliness, and performing basic maintenance
• Handle cash charge transactions correctly and process core/part returns appropriately
• Maintain a distribution log or tracking system for all deliveries/pickups
• Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people

Requirements

• Ability to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary
• Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift and lift up to 60 lbs of merchandise
• Ability to handle cash charge transactions correctly and core/part returns appropriately
• Ability to maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made
• Ability to inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
• Ability to drive throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions
• Flexibility with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
