Store Assistant

About This Role

Serve as the friendly face of Toolstation, assisting customers with finding products, handling deliveries, managing warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find suitable products for their needs
• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, and prepare orders
• Keep the store clean and maintain high store standards
• Stock shelves and organize the warehouse
• Provide outstanding customer service during busy times
• Engage with customers to understand their projects and offer relevant products
• Proactively sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts
• Be reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting customers and the team

Requirements

• Ability to commute to the store in Hull St Andrews
• Availability for early starts and late finishes (7 AM to 8 PM operating hours)
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Hard work ethic and a positive attitude
• Warm, friendly personality
• Reliability and flexibility

Qualifications

• No retail experience required, commitment to excellent service is key.
