About This Role

This role supports the head of the Hilgenriedersiel depot by managing staff, organizing workflows on construction sites and workshops, and planning and controlling maintenance measures. It emphasizes financial and technical management in a highly sensitive natural environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the depot management in leading employees
• Assist in organizing workflows on construction sites and in workshops
• Aid in financial and content planning of maintenance measures
• Assist in controlling maintenance and repair measures
• Independently perform administrative tasks related to personnel, materials, vehicles, equipment, and properties
• Execute independent activities in occupational safety, including risk assessments and monitoring inspection periods
• Support storm surge operations and pollution control
• Manage approximately 1 million euros in expense and investment funds annually
• Manage approximately 1.4 million euros in personnel and equipment costs annually

Requirements

• Completed training as a 'Wasserbaumeister/in' or equivalent master craftsman certificate with prior training in a construction trade, technical-mechanical, agricultural, or forestry profession
• Several years of professional experience
• Good PC skills: MS-Office applications
• Driver's license Class B
• Confident demeanor in employee leadership and dealing with third parties
• Manual and technical understanding
• High resilience
• Reliable, independent work style and team-oriented action

Qualifications

• Completed training as a 'Wasserbaumeister/in' (Water Construction Foreman) or an equivalent master craftsman certificate with prior training in a construction trade, technical-mechanical, agricultural, or forestry profession
• Several years of professional experience in the mentioned professional field
