Staff Software Engineer, Cribl AI

About This Role

This role involves working with the founding team and highly-skilled engineers to advance the future of search and analytics for observability data. You will integrate cutting-edge Generative AI technologies into Cribl's product suite to address critical customer challenges. The position focuses on iteratively designing, developing, and delivering products that will enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based technology integrations into Cribl’s core products to solve real customer problems
• Partner with product & design leaders to prototype and experiment with new AI features
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends
• Perform stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as required

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with modern web technologies
• Ability to problem solve from first principles and maintain focus on overarching objectives
• Proven experience designing and scaling complex React-based web applications
• Deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience building AI agent-driven conversational user interfaces
• Familiarity with LLM application patterns (RAG, agents, prompt engineering)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
