Sr. Retail Property Manager

Oversee a high-profile, flagship retail asset in Houston within a sophisticated, institutional-quality portfolio. This role involves direct ownership interaction, leading financial discussions, and ensuring operational excellence for a nationally anchored retail destination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property operations
• Serve as primary point of contact for tenants and vendors
• Partner closely with leasing, accounting, construction, and asset management teams
• Lead monthly financial discussions, including budgets, CAMs, and variance explanations
• Maintain institutional-level financial accountability and reporting rigor
• Manage tenant relationship and lease compliance

Requirements

• Confidence operating in front of institutional capital
• Strong financial acumen across budgets, CAM reconciliations, and variance reporting
• Ability to clearly explain performance results
• Steady, credible presence with tenants, vendors, and executive leadership
• Experience working with institutional owners or sophisticated equity partners
• Proven strength in budgets, CAMs, and ownership reporting
• Comfortable presenting financial performance on recurring calls
• Strong tenant relationship management and lease compliance experience

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing grocery-anchored or high-volume retail assets

Nice to Have

• Yardi or similar systems experience
