Drive operational excellence in Counterparty Risk Operations for Qcells North America's solar installer channel and pipeline. Lead a team of analysts, ensuring efficient processes, accurate project investigations, and strong partner relationships to reduce risk exposure and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support solar pipeline verification activities and lead the Counterparty Risk Analyst team as a Servant Leader
- Review and approve/reject project investigations from a Risk perspective
- Develop, implement, and monitor processes to reduce pipeline exposure and ensure operational excellence
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance
- Oversee active/suspended channel partner relations and ensure effective outcomes
- Ensure channel partners adhere to program agreements, reporting violations and communicating corrective actions
- Analyze and optimize solar operations (installation, maintenance, repair/warranty) to reduce costs and improve quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes with minimal disruptions
- Conduct regular audits for compliance, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Follow Complaints Process and use tools to resolve customer and business partner complaints
- Perform outbound calls to channel partners to resolve violations of SLA/SLO
- Perform QA/QC with inbound calls, emails, and case progress to manage business partner relationships
- Directly manage pipeline outliers and troubleshoot with applicable teams
- Schedule regular meetings, discussions, and teleconferences to strengthen business partner relationships
- Review and analyze risk management reports for business partner performance and behavior
- Review loan documents and installation contracts for accuracy and completeness
- Provide support to business partners on using proprietary solar origination software
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of professional work experience
- 5-10 years of extensive experience in the solar industry related to operations pipeline/account management, project management, customer service, financial services/lending, underwriting, utility regulations/tariffs, and B2B2C
- Proven track record of B2B2C operations and/or developing B2B relationships
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory and tariff documents and understand utility corrections/kickbacks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical data skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Ability to work with little guidance, manage multiple threads, make accurate forecasts, and meet milestones
- Ability to influence and direct third-party providers
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects under pressure
- Powerful analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Advanced working skill set with Salesforce, Tableau, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of professional work experience, including 5-10 years in the solar industry with operations pipeline/account management, project management, customer service, financial services/lending, underwriting, utility regulations/tariffs, and B2B2C experience
