Sports Turf Management Technician

About This Role

This is a hands-on role for a dependable, hard-working individual to join a sports turf management team. Key responsibilities include applying turf products, operating equipment, and leading small labor crews for sports field maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers and turf products (training provided)
• Obtain and maintain a pesticide applicator license (company support provided)
• Perform simple irrigation modifications and repairs (training provided)
• Operate forklifts and turf/grounds equipment
• Drive a company truck with a trailer to job sites
• Perform manual labor related to sports field grading and maintenance
• Lead and work alongside small labor crews
• Follow safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a pesticide applicator license
• Basic math skills
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive a truck with a trailer
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to step into a crew lead role
