Serve as the single point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients, assessing needs and providing support throughout their treatment journey. Coordinate drug delivery, manage insurance challenges, monitor adherence, and collaborate across the care continuum to resolve patient concerns.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and provide support with every refill
- Coordinate drug delivery
- Address new insurance and/or copay challenges
- Monitor for patient adherence
- Work across the care continuum with clinical and pharmacy team members
- Resolve patient concerns quickly
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of employment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Strong organizational/administrative skills
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Nice to Have
- Nationally certified as a CPhT
- Knowledge of transplant, hepatitis C, infectious disease (including HIV), and/or oncology
