Operate and inspect various processes and activities, including deburr, wash, and identification, for jet engine parts on the weekend day shift. Ensure parts adhere to manufacturing standards and specifications and maintain the continuous flow of materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect all types of processes and activities including deburr, laser ID, wash and identification
- Manufacture and/or test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks and other irregularities from machined parts per blueprints and tolerance requirements
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure accurate records
- Communicate change of shift requirements to ensure accurate information and documentation transfer
- Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment operated
- Clean, organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of six months experience in production
- Ability to effectively interact with team members, customers, and management
- Ability to read, understand, and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Minimum six months experience in production
