This role involves driving sales growth within an assigned territory by educating potential customers and clients about assistive communication solutions and assisting them in selecting speech-generating devices. The Solutions Consultant will build relationships with clinicians, end-users, and caregivers to empower people with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Attain sales quota by working the assigned territory, building strong customer relationships, conducting consultative sales calls, and utilizing solid product knowledge
- Develop sales leads by researching disabilities, accounts, and technology in preparation for acquiring new business
- Prepare and conduct presentations on Tobii Dynavox products for therapists, medical/educational personnel, and potential client audiences
- Prepare sales packets and quotes for products and services and manage accounts
- Educate speech-language pathologists, therapists, educators, and clients on the funding process and third-party payer requirements
- Collaborate with the funding team on prior authorization and case submissions to expedite the selling process
- Sustain territory management through account maintenance, clinical support, and participation in educational programs
- Work closely with other Tobii Dynavox employees to ensure all sales opportunities are pursued and closed
- Conduct business/account reviews with management and customers on a regular basis
- Stay abreast of industry trends and participate in professional organizations within the AAC industry
- Remain compliant with all HIPAA regulations and Privacy laws while conducting business
- Prepare expense, special project, and sales forecasting reports on a timely basis
- Travel extensively within the sales territory
Requirements
- 2+ years of durable medical device sales experience or clinical background
- Possession of a valid state driver's license and insured motor vehicle
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and teaming skills
- Listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Effective sales presentation and platform training skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
- Willingness to travel
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to multitask
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of durable medical device sales experience or clinical background
Nice to Have
- Clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist
- CRM experience, preferably MS CRM
- Project management experience
