About This Role

Lead and supervise solar site operations, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance for a rapidly expanding solar asset portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Site Safety and Accident Prevention Programs, conducting regular inspections and briefings
  • Act as the on-site technical and safety expert
  • Provide training and mentorship for site technicians
  • Operate and maintain the plant in compliance with established standards and procedures
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Apply technical skills to troubleshoot electrical components using various equipment
  • Perform daily mechanical and electrical inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and optimally
  • Manage and support contractors and OEM vendors
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including work orders, time entries, and emergency response protocols
  • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory usage

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as Inverter Specialist or Solar Technician
  • Knowledgeable of renewable energy peculiarities
  • Expertise in DC array technology
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • OSHA 30-Hour Training for General Industry certification
  • NFPA 70E – Workplace Electrical Safety certification
  • First Aid, CPR, AED certifications
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

  • 3+ years as Inverter Specialist or Solar Technician; Knowledgeable of renewable energy peculiarities; expertise in DC array technology

Nice to Have

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations, read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs.
