About This Role

This role is responsible for providing daily support, maintenance, testing, and training of SmartVMA software applications. The specialist will offer technical assistance to end-users and reseller representatives, resolving issues in person, via telephone, or through the help desk system.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on end user troubleshooting
  • Manage queue of support tickets
  • Train end users on applicable software packages
  • Escalate issues to vendors as needed
  • Work on database/back-end setup to prepare for new client use
  • Interact with end users, vendors, and other participants to ensure the efficient utilization of systems
  • Perform various IT functions including network, servers, clients, Internet, Intranet, and database administration
  • Cross-train as needed to support or back up team members

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of help-desk experience

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. Associates’ degree or BS in Computer Science, MIS, or other technical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of help-desk experience required.

Nice to Have

  • Associate’s degree or BS in Computer Science, MIS, or other technical field
  • Medium level proficiency with MySQL
