About This Role

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs for Speechify's backend services, including payments, analytics, and text-to-speech. You will enhance API performance, collaborate on B2B solutions, and align backend architecture with product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development
• TS/Node (required)
• Direct experience with GCP
• Efficiency in ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes
