Software Engineer 3 with Security Clearance

About This Role

This Software Engineer 3 position within ARSIEM Corporation involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems for a government client. The role includes resolving software problems, providing input to system design, and leading software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements
• Reviews and tests software components to adhere to design requirements and document test results
• Resolves software problem reports
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis
• Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debugs existing software and corrects defects
• Provides recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Designs and codes new software or modifies existing software to add new features
• Integrates existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

Requirements

• 20+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 years additional SWE experience)
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
