About This Role

This internship program offers valuable experience within the finance industry and credit union operations, allowing you to contribute to a capstone project and gain direct mentorship in software development.

Responsibilities

Operate as a cohort on a capstone project
Participate in panel discussions with company leadership
Have direct mentorship
Contribute valuable work within the department
Volunteer along with current team members in company service projects
Support assigned department in administrative tasks, report generation, and project coordination
Develop proficiency in using various software programs specific to internship assignment
Participate as a member of the Intern Project Team
Conduct specific research by gathering data, interpreting results and presenting findings to various levels of management
Develop effective internal professional relationships and external networking skills

Requirements

Basic knowledge of business processes and interpretation
Technology savvy with high competency using spreadsheets and word processing
Attention to detail and follow-through
Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum of one year (24-credit hours) of college coursework specific to Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Punctual, reliable, and present

Qualifications

Minimum of one year (24-credit hours) of college coursework specific to Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Seeking an internship with basic knowledge of business processes and interpretation.
