This role involves driving new sales and expanding platform usage with existing clients for a leading SaaS business provider in the small to medium-sized business (SMB) market. Success in this position requires strategically engaging clients, identifying new opportunities, and meeting sales quotas.
Responsibilities
- Contact assigned clients to present opportunities for additional sales and extended usage based on client needs
- Identify and secure new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting and company-initiated programs
- Execute all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence
- Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed
- Help grow local business market share and defend small business America
- Educate and guide prospects through the buyer's journey on how Thryv can grow their business
- Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy for new product enhancements and releases
- Bring thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance the company's values, culture, and vision
Requirements
- Direct sales experience
- Ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and relationship-building skills
- Time and organization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Associate’s degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of direct sales experience (entry-level) or 3+ years of direct sales experience with 2+ years in outbound sales (senior-level), preferably in a SaaS role or company.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) for senior level candidates
