About This Role

Join the KWA team as a Full-Time Social Services Assistant to support victims of domestic violence by facilitating intake, assessment, and system navigation services. This role demands effective crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake services for clients and coordinate next steps with Coordinated Entry and System Navigation staff
• Collaborate with other organizations to ensure a comprehensive support network
• Utilize Clarity HMIS for effective database management and Record Keeping
• Participate in required training and networking meetings to enrich knowledge and skills
• Attend regular staff meetings to stay informed about organizational policies and procedures
• Implement supportive practices and enhance client experiences
• Maintain impeccable Record Keeping using Database Management and MS Office Suite

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong conflict management abilities
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Satisfactorily pass criminal history and reference checks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed two years of college in a related field
