Join the KWA team as a Full-Time Social Services Assistant to support victims of domestic violence by facilitating intake, assessment, and system navigation services. This role demands effective crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake services for clients and coordinate next steps with Coordinated Entry and System Navigation staff
- Collaborate with other organizations to ensure a comprehensive support network
- Utilize Clarity HMIS for effective database management and Record Keeping
- Participate in required training and networking meetings to enrich knowledge and skills
- Attend regular staff meetings to stay informed about organizational policies and procedures
- Implement supportive practices and enhance client experiences
- Maintain impeccable Record Keeping using Database Management and MS Office Suite
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong conflict management abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Satisfactorily pass criminal history and reference checks
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed two years of college in a related field
