About This Role

Respond immediately to snowstorms in New York City's five boroughs by performing snow shoveling, ice removal, and de-icing to maintain safe and accessible properties.

Responsibilities

• Respond immediately to snow storms in all boroughs
• Perform snow shoveling and ice removal
• Salt and de-ice walkways, entrances, and common areas
• Support snow removal operations as needed during storms
• Potentially cover additional porter shifts when regular staff are out sick or on vacation

Requirements

• Ability to report to work during snowstorms, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform physical work in cold and inclement weather
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
