Respond immediately to snowstorms in New York City's five boroughs by performing snow shoveling, ice removal, and de-icing to maintain safe and accessible properties.
Responsibilities
- Respond immediately to snow storms in all boroughs
- Perform snow shoveling and ice removal
- Salt and de-ice walkways, entrances, and common areas
- Support snow removal operations as needed during storms
- Potentially cover additional porter shifts when regular staff are out sick or on vacation
Requirements
- Ability to report to work during snowstorms, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical work in cold and inclement weather
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
