Respond to snow events by performing snow removal with manual shovels or small equipment, spreading salt, and monitoring weather conditions to ensure public safety and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings at the Branch, if requested
- Perform snow removal with a manual shovel
- Spread salt as requested
- Remove snow from storefronts using awning rakes
- Operate small snow blowers
- Operate walk behind snow sweepers
- Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Ability to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently
- Self-motivated
