About This Role

Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students as a Site Assigned Substitute Teacher, fostering an environment conducive to their intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Supervise students and monitor their outcomes while maintaining effective communication with parents, staff, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students
• Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to student development
• Supervise students in a variety of school related settings
• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes
• Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff and community
• Develop, select and modify instructional plans and materials
• Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices
• Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities
• Report each instructional day to assigned school at specified time and fulfill teacher's workday
• Be willing to teach all subjects within the school

Requirements

• Minimum of 30 semester credit hours from an accredited college or university

Qualifications

• A minimum of 30 semester credit hours from an accredited college or university

Nice to Have

• Active Virginia teaching license
