About This Role

Join project teams to identify pain points, redesign workflows, and deploy AI agents that streamline construction operations. This role focuses on translating AI ideas into practical site solutions, advancing the "Construction Site of the Future."

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean/Six Sigma discovery workshops to identify AI use cases and redesign workflows
  • Evaluate jobsite workflows and data maturity, identifying gaps for AI adoption and developing improvement plans
  • Assess market solutions, launch pilots, measure impact, and scale successful deployments of AI tools
  • Develop and deploy production-ready AI agents using various platforms (Copilot Studio, Power Apps, ChatGPT Enterprise) and code-first frameworks
  • Implement enterprise-grade engineering and LLMOps, building RAG pipelines and automating infrastructure
  • Partner with Data Engineering to design and maintain ETL pipelines, API integrations, and event-driven connectors for AI agents
  • Orchestrate cross-cloud AI solutions, blending services from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock
  • Train crews, gather feedback, and track adoption/ROI metrics to embed AI agents into daily routines and SOPs
  • Brief project leadership and clients on AI agent impact and contribute to "Construction Site of the Future" playbooks
  • Draft user stories, data specs, and acceptance criteria for complex solutions requiring central AI or Data Engineering support

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years in AI engineering / full-stack data applications or data science
  • 2+ years building production LLM/RAG solutions
  • Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent background
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Hands-on expertise with Copilot Studio, Power Apps/Automate, custom connectors, and CoE Toolkit governance
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Databricks Lakehouse and vector stores
  • Expertise in GitHub Actions (or Azure DevOps) and Posit Workbench/Connect automation or comparable CI/CD tooling
  • Strong Git/GitHub workflow discipline
  • Foundational understanding of ETL/ELT design, Airflow or Databricks Workflows, and REST/GraphQL API development
  • Willing and able to travel and work on active jobsites

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, Physics, or a related field; Master’s preferred
  • 4-6+ years in AI engineering / full-stack data applications or data science, including 2+ years building production LLM/RAG solutions

Nice to Have

  • Master’s in CS, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Prior hands-on work in construction or heavy process industries (manufacturing, oil & gas, chemicals)
