Single Cell Research Associate

About This Role

This role is responsible for performing single cell-based sequencing applications, including cell sorting via FACS, data analysis, and equipment maintenance, within Novogene's Beaverton, OR lab.

Responsibilities

• Sort cells and nuclear suspension samples using FACS (Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting)
• Perform Single-cell Flow Cytometry data analysis
• Complete experimental reports
• Operate and maintain Single-cell Flow Cytometry Equipment
• Undertake other work arrangements for the Single-cell laboratory
• Be available for business trips to China for training

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; major in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology or related subjects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; major in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology and related subjects
• At least 2 years experience in Single-cell platforms such as 10x, Scale and Parse is preferred. Relevant working experience in Single-cell Flow Cytometry is preferred.

Nice to Have

• At least 2 years experience in Single-cell platforms (e.g., 10x, Scale, Parse)
• Relevant working experience in Single-cell Flow Cytometry
• Experience with sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina, Pacbio)
