The Shoe Stylist is responsible for applying selling techniques to merchandise and developing a client base to build sales, ensuring outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer-friendly environment, greeting, and acknowledging every customer
- Maintain outstanding standards in every aspect of customer service
- Possess an understanding of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertising efforts
- Demonstrate salesmanship skills by consistently achieving and maintaining sales productivity levels
- Assist in various store operations including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties, and returning products to inventory as needed
- Perform work outside of specific role occasionally
Requirements
- Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of retail experience preferred
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of retail experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
