About This Role

Verify and process incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare return shipments, and assist in loading/unloading trucks. This role also involves performing final inspections on raw materials and finished goods to ensure high product quality before customer delivery.

Responsibilities

Inspect and count incoming and outgoing items, verifying information against bills of lading, packing lists, and other records
Record received or shipped product information on corresponding software
Generate shipping and receiving labels with all relevant information
Schedule domestic and international outbound shipments with freight carriers
Generate and route shipping documents, including BOLs and commercial invoices, to appropriate departments
Prepare items for shipping (e.g., UPS, Federal Express, specified courier)
Load and unload trucks
Move raw materials and finished goods to designated warehouse locations
Assist Project Managers with samples/over packs on sample storage shelves and designated areas
Assist Operations in packing out samples after testing has been completed
Maintain inventory of shipping and receiving packing materials and usable workspace
Record inspection results and shipping information on appropriate forms
Perform quality control to verify correct product shipment according to documentation
Identify non-conformance materials or products
Provide feedback on development problems/trends to manufacturing and QC management
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
